Mr Oscar Chow Vee Tsung was officially appointed as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by the Bahrain Government, with the recognition of the Government of the People's Republic of China on May 10, 2018. Mr Chow is the Managing Director of Polaris Holdings Limited, an investment holding and management company. He holds a degree in Master of Engineering from the University of Oxford, U.K. Before joining his family's business, Chevalier Group in 2000, Mr Chow had worked as an investment banker in BNP Prime Peregrine and as a financial underwriter in Centre Solutions (Asia), a subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services. Mr Chow currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Chevalier International Holdings Limited. Mr Chow is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Bahrain Business Association. He currently serves as a member of General Committee and a member of Chamber Council of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, a General Committee Member of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong and a Court Honorary Member of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also a member of the fifth-term Election Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Tennis Association.
