I. Legalisation

  1. Legalisation of Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading, Packing List and other shipping-related document.
  2. Procedures & Requirements

    1. The document mentioned above to be legalised by the Consulate must be issued/endorsed by one of the following organisations:
      • Chinese General Chamber of Commerce
      • Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong
      • Federation of Hong Kong Industries
      • Indian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong
      • Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce
      • Hong Kong Trade and Industry Department
    2. Bring the original document which has been endorsed to the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Bahrain for legalisation.
    3. Only cash payment is accepted at the Consulate, and it must be made upon submission of document.
    4. Processing time for legalisation is 2-3 working days, on average.

    Charges

    The legalisation fee for Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Packing List and other shipping-related document are HK$300 per copy. Legalisation fee of commercial invoice is commensurate with the invoice value as follows:

  3. Legalisation of Authorisation, Certificate Legalising Signature, Testimony, Power of Attorney, and other legal document.
  4. Procedures & Requirements

    1. Document must be notarized by a notary public in Hong Kong.
    2. Apostiled by the High Court of HKSAR.
    3. Present the document to the Kingdom of Bahrain directly without further legalisation from the Honorary Consulate.
